A) After 3 days trip in Guangzhou, I found out a few things about China: 1. The development is really fast in Guangzhou, even those backward areas are now having rocket growth 2. I understood why the oil price keeps so high recently; the demand is reali great in China. Our bus took more than 30 mins to queue in a gas station!! B) Watched Sex and the City, it's a great movie and i got some thoughts from it 1. It focuses on Pairs. It doesn’t mention their parents or any family members. Seems that it's reali cool to keep everything under your control, even in decision on marriage 2. It has a main focus on "Be yourself" or "Find yourself as you got lost before"...Seems that I like to be myself now and stay as single coz I can focus and strive for my goals without engaging in anything. 3. The four characters are great friends for years and they can share all among themselves. Seems that in reality, it's so hard to find a group like that. It's no good to show or share any bad feelings to others as they would like to get happy in gatherings rather than listening to what may screw-up their moods. Also, it's diff to hv deep chats when people a busy in working or any responsibilities. Thus, it's better to fix it yourself at home and be a happy boy or girl in the gatherings. 4. BT said no one in floor share the process after successful outclubs. Many stuff people wun share in floor and get used to hide their feelings or choose not to share. That's true. I admit that it’s good to hv the idea of "brotherhood", but seems that i messed up this word in “ideal" and "reality". C) Notes from st. john's currents Seems that all people including FC/VC planned to hv at least half of summer overseas, for both trips and internships. I duno....seems that it's weird for me....may be i am an old buscuit...i still believe that FC/VC/Exco should be in HK for most part of summer and help sjc to prepare camps and orientations, and also for their memories and self enhancement... May be next yr exco can hv trips or internships for more than 50% of the summer and everyone thinks that would be fine..who knows..but i still believe that the yr when i was an exco and FC, i did grow so much, esp mentally. I will give the same advice when people ask: stay in sjc during summer as much as possible if u reali wanna CHANGE |
